Q. |
I have heard that you don't allow Infants & Children under the age of 12, into the Tea Room, Why is this? |
A. |
We do have a Children & Infants Policy. The trading style of Emily's Tea Room required us to make some difficult decisions, so to ensure that all our guests can enjoy their visit to Emily's, the owners of the Tea Room decided that only children over 12 years of age are permitted inside the tea room, on the provision that they are well behaved and remain seated at all times. A driving factor for the introduction of the policy, was the complexities of UK Health & Safety laws, and the fact that the Tea Room is now Licensed to serve alcohol. We are happy to serve quests with infants and children under 12 years of age, using our outside seating at the front of the Tea Room. (Weather Permitting). |
